Business Days Between Dates

Count working days between two dates, skipping weekends and holidays.

Count working days, not just calendar days

Pick a start and end date and Pickly counts the business days between them — every Monday through Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays skipped. It also shows the total calendar days and how many of those fell on weekends.

Handling public holidays

Holidays differ by country and region, so the tool can’t know yours automatically. Enter how many public holidays fall inside your range and it subtracts them from the business-day total.

When business days matter

Shipping estimates, invoice payment terms, project deadlines, and legal notice periods are usually measured in working days. Use the “exclude end date” option when you want the gap between two dates rather than an inclusive count.

What counts as a business day?
A business day is any weekday, Monday through Friday. Weekends are excluded, and you can enter the number of public holidays in your range to subtract them too.
Does the count include the start and end dates?
By default both dates are included. Switch to 'Exclude end date' if you want the gap between them instead.
Why do business days matter?
Shipping estimates, payment terms, project deadlines, and legal notice periods are usually counted in business days rather than calendar days.
Does it account for public holidays?
Holidays vary by country and region, so enter how many fall in your range and the calculator subtracts them from the business-day total.
