Pickly is a growing collection of free online tools for two everyday needs: making a decision and breaking the ice. How it's built
Pickly is a static website — plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with no heavy frameworks. That means pages load fast, work offline once visited, and can be installed to your home screen like an app. Every tool runs entirely in your browser: when you spin a wheel or generate a bracket, the work happens on your device, not on a server. We use your browser's built-in randomness so results are genuinely fair and unbiased, the same way a real coin or dice would be.
We care about the small details that make a tool feel trustworthy: readable results you can copy and share, shareable links that pre-load your exact setup, and clear explanations of how each tool works and what its numbers mean. Calculators show their assumptions, and anything involving health, money, or important decisions carries a plain-language note that results are estimates for information only.
Your privacy
Because there is no login, there is no personal profile to worry about. The lists you type into the spinner, the names in your bracket, and the answers you give in a quiz all stay in your own browser — they are not uploaded to us.
